Serving the people of Washington County

Judge Sandra Giernoth brings unmatched experience and deep community roots to her service as a Judge on the Washington County Circuit Court.

On the bench since 2020, Judge Giernoth handles complex, significant cases including homicide, sexual assault, drug trafficking, and other serious crimes. Before becoming a Judge, she was a Washington County Prosecutor (2010-2020), specializing in major drug crime prosecution.

Deep community roots

Her roots in Washington County run deep. She is a Past President of the United Way of Washington County Board of Directors, a member of the Kettle Moraine YMCA Board of Directors, and is the 2024 recipient of the Kevin Steiner Emerging Leader Award. Judge Giernoth and her husband Jeff have lived in Washington County for 18 years and have two children.

It is an honor to serve the people of Washington County by upholding the rule of law, protecting the rights of all, and keeping our communities strong and safe. I am seeking re-election to continue this important work and humbly ask for your support.
